What started with three sheep and a few chickens has grown with much love into a small farm, a living heritage farm.
Most animals are part of a breeding program because they are living heritage. Or they ended up with Neel and Elke and were lovingly accepted into the family.
They practice extensive agriculture (no longer fertilizing arable lands but instead grazing in nature). As a result, they increase biodiversity in the immediate vicinity and create a nice balance between nature and agriculture. A principle that they support 100%. In this context, they work together with Natuur en Bos, Natuurpunt and Regional Landscape Voorkempen. Plantations on ferme NeElke are as autochthonous as possible and fit in with their ecological Kempen story.
