Description
The Institute of Animal Science of Lithuanian Veterinary Academy is a state budgetary research institution with a status of university scientific institute, established for the fundamental and applied research in zootechny and biology on international and national level in the field of bio-medical sciences.
The institute cares also for rare Lithuanian livestock breeds as a priority point as for Zemaitukai horse, Ash-Grey and Whitbacked cattle, Native Lithuanian pigs and Lithuaninan coarse wooled sheep.
