José Miguel da Fonseca, from Figueiró dos Vinhos, Graça Ribeiro, from Sesimbra and José Pedro Raposo, from Ferreira do Alentejo, farmers and keepers of seeds, are founders of 'Colher para Semear' (Harvest to Sowing). As of painstaking research, and much direct contact with small farmers around the country were gaining members and solidifying the Portuguese Network of traditional varieties.
